Welcome to the saymarsay blog. Bloggers Peggy (garriguegirl) and Rudy (ahaexp) live (most of the time) in the town of Sonoma, California. Peggy is 80% retired working part-time as a substitute public librarian. Rudy is retired from a varied career in banking, information technology, and software publishing. They have a 20-something daughter who lives in Brooklyn.

About the header photo: Marseille is changing!  This image is of two architectual elements of the Palais Longchamp framing the Fine Arts Museum — under drastic renovation.

The “20-something” descriptor is greatly appreciated.

Love the blog, Rudy. And the photos. In dark, rainy Seattle, this just made me smile. When we were in Cassis, we both hiked in the calanques and toured them during a very wet boat ride. Gorgeous! Keep writing; it feeds all of our imaginations and travel hunger.

Hello, from a Marseillais who has lived in Boston since 1982 (came here on a Fulbright and stayed)…..
I LOVE your blog on Marseille. You captured exactly the essence of the city.

    Thank you so much.
